1 In 1964, added two Vice Presidents; combined offices of Secretary and Treasurer; instituted office of President-Elect; and discontinued Immediate Past President service on Executive Committee.

2 In 1972, initiated designation of a Senior Vice President, who would complete term of President in case of inability to continue in office.

3 In 1973, under terms of the AICE-CEC consolidation, "Executive Committee" became "Board of Trustees;" "Secretary-Treasurer" became "Treasurer." During the first two years of ACEC the number of Trustees was greater than normal.

4 The "Board of Trustees" was renamed "Executive Committee" by action of the Board of Directors in May 1979.

5 The President of NACECE is included on the Executive Committee as an ex-officio member.

6 In 2001, the titles of all Executive Committee members except the Treasurer were changed. The offices of "President," "President-Elect," "Senior Vice President," and "Vice President" were renamed as the "Chairman," "Chairman-Elect," "Senior Vice Chairman," and "Vice-Chairman" respectively. The "Executive Vice President" was renamed as the "President." In 2002, the President and NACECE representative were added to the Executive Committee as non-voting members.
