Engineering Excellence Awards

ACEC's annual Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) program and black-tie Gala celebrates the innovation, expertise, and achievements of ACEC Member Firms from throughout the nation.

Known as the "Academy Awards" of the engineering industry, the Gala applauds the accomplishments of private engineering firms in an elegant celebration attended by industry leaders, Members of Congress, federal agency officials and the media.

This year's EEA competition features 163 projects from throughout the world all vying for honors of excellence — including the Grand Conceptor Award for best overall engineering achievement.

All projects, including the top 24 awards and winner of the Grand Conceptor Award, will be recognized at the EEA Gala, which will be held 7pm - 10pm on Tuesday, April 27th, during the ACEC Annual Convention at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, in Washington, D.C.
