We're in the midst of an unusual market. Despite a persistent recovery and many strong market indicators, uncertainty grows. Nearly a decade into this economic recovery, many wonder how far we have to go before the economy loses steam. The impact of the Trump administration remains unclear and global forces impacting the engineering industry are becoming more pervasive and complex.

Join Greg Powell to assess how the industry is faring thus far in 2017 and what key market drivers you should watch for as you look ahead. You'll also explore:

  • The state of the economy from different perspectives
  • Current political issues impacting engineering firms, including infrastructure spending and immigration
  • E&C national and regional growth trends across key market sectors
  • The M&A climate and current deal trends
  • Current sentiment for the industry amongst engineering company leaders
  • What to expect through the rest of 2017
