About LDC

  • Mission of the Land Development Coalition
    To strengthen the business environment for member firms, focusing on quality professional land development services in a competitive global marketplace.

  • Purpose of the Land Development Coalition
    To provide business practice information to firms engaging in land development practices and be an advocate within ACEC for the interests of firms specializing in land development issues. To enhance management expertise and increase business efficiency and profitability of the coalition membership. To provide a unified voice on legislative and regulatory items affecting member firms.

  • Coalition Goals
    • Provide business practice programs and information for land development firms;
    • Develop liaison relationships with client industry associations;
    • Monitor and liaison with federal regulatory agencies creating policy that affect land development activities - assist in advocacy efforts by ACEC where needed;
    • Monitor trends and changes in the industry to help firms maintain and enhance profitability;
    • Provide a forum for firms to express their own concerns;
    • Promote ACEC and member organizations' commitment to the coalition.

  • How to Join LDC
    To join, simply print out and complete the application form and return to Heather Talbert at ACEC, along with payment for $150 annual dues. Applicants will receive membership confirmation immediately, along with detailed information about benefits and entitlements as a new LDC member. For more information about LDC or its membership benefits, call ACEC at 202.347.7474 and ask for Heather Talbert, Executive Director of the Land Development Coalition.
