Room Rate

ACEC'S room rate is $280, single/double occupancy, plus 14.5% tax. NOTE: This discount expired on March 19th. If you need a hotel room, contact Krysta at kperrault@acec.org or at 202-682-4353 and she can TRY to get you the discounted rate. We cannot guarantee a discounted room at this late date.

The Grand Hyatt Washington is located in downtown Washington D.C. between the White House and Capitol Hill, and is easily accessible by Metro.

Room reservations must be received by Friday, March 19, 2010. After this date, rooms may not be available or available at a higher rate. Rooms are available until the cut off date or until rooms in the ACEC room block are gone, whichever occurs first.

By staying at the Grand Hyatt Hotel ACEC Convention attendees will be entered into a drawing for one complimentary hotel room night paid for by ACEC — a $280 value!

Staying at the Grand Hyatt will allow ACEC to keep your registration fees at the current rates. If ACEC does not achieve a minimum number of overnight accommodations, the price of services will increase registration fees for future programs. Without your support, ACEC faces huge financial penalties for unused sleeping rooms.

Hotel Reservation Changes/Cancellations

Changes to, or cancellations of online reservation may be made by visiting the hotel website through the ACEC site as listed above. Once you have entered the hotel website, please select the "Already Have a Reservation?" link at the bottom right of the text in order to access your reservation with your Last Name and Confirmation Number. As of April 2, 2010, you must call the Hyatt directly to make any changes or cancel your reservation at 202-582-1234.

Hotel Reservation Deadline

The Grand Hyatt Reservations deadline is Friday, March 19, 2010. When the group block sells or after March 19, 2010 rooms will be on a space and rate available basis. Hotel rooms in Washington, DC sell out quickly! Please make your reservation early!

Travel Information

Three airports serve the Washington D.C. Metro area: Ronald Reagan National Airport, Dulles International Airport and Baltimore Washington International Airport. From the airports taxis or shuttles are readily available and range from $20 - $75 one-way. Ronald Reagan National Airport is the closest and is on the blue line of the Metro.
