Disney Institute Tour: Gardens of the World at Epcot®

Wednesday, September 21 - 1:45 pm-4:45 pm
Everywhere you look at the Walt Disney World® Resort, the trees, shrubs and flowers play a vital role in setting the stage for recreation, entertainment and beauty. Join ACEC guests on a fascinating program that gives attendees the chance to study various gardens of the World Showcase at Epcot®. Your horticultural instructor turns Epcot® into a living classroom, using facilities "on stage" to describe the basic process of plant design and how it is incorporated in the landscape for the World Showcase pavilions. Learn how to apply many of these elements of design and theme in your own garden. Note: Guests will walk from the hotel to Epcot®. Must be 16 years or older. For security reasons, each participant must have a valid photo ID during the tour. Cost: $75 per person

Local Color Night! Rock 'n' Roll Beach Party at Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island

Thursday, September 22 - 6:45 pm-9 pm

It's time to hang ten on the Rock 'n' Roll Beach Club dance floor. A disc jockey will spin classic and rock 'n' roll favorites and the night really gets rockin' when the live band hits the stage! Casual food, two drink coupons for beverages and endless arcade games will be offered until 9 pm! Buses depart the hotel at 6:45 pm. After 9 pm, transportation will be on your own. For security reasons, each participant must have a valid photo ID to enter Pleasure Island. Cost: $85 per person

Disney Institute VIP Backstage Tours

Friday, September 23 - 8:30 am-11:30 am
Ever wonder what it takes to create the magic of Walt Disney? Disney Institute as they present a special backstage tour and unveil the fine points behind the artistic, technical and scientific operations, found throughout the Disney Theme Parks. Disney Institute facilitators will guide you through the theme park to give you the behind-the-scenes look at the magic of one man's dream. Buses depart the hotel at 8: 15 am. Transportation after the event is on your own. Disney buses operate throughout the day for return trips. For security reasons, each participant must have a valid photo ID during the tours.
Cost: $99 per person

Choose from one of two unique tours:

VIP Backstage Tour A
This tour takes you to American Adventure, where you will see the unique technology that brings the story of the American experience to life. You'll explore Epcot® Cast Services, the world's largest working wardrobe, and also visit Creative Costuming where talented craftsmen design the famous costumes for Disney's famed shows and parades.

VIP Backstage Tour B
This tour takes you into Disney's famed Utildor System. Journey beneath the Magic Kingdom® Park to view support systems in the "tunnel." Then you will travel to the North Service Area where in Central Shops you will explore the work of "can do" builders of Disney Magic. Then uncover how holiday magic is created at the Holiday Services Department. Must be 16 years or older.
