Discover Maui: Tour of Haleakala, ‘Iao Needle and Lahaina
Wednesday, September 26, 7:30 am - 4 pm

On this tour you will travel to the summit of Maui’s spectacular House of the Sun, Mount Haleakala Crater. You will travel through rural upcounty towns to Halekala National Park where you will see the Visitor Center, Pu’u Ula’ula Overlook, rare silversword plants and the nene goose, Hawaii’s state bird. Your Hawaiian journey continues with visits to Wailuku, sugar cane fields and Ka’ahumanu Church. Your tour concludes with a scenic drive to the historic ‘Iao Needle in ‘Iao Valley State Park. Bus departs from the hotel at 7:30 am and returns at 4 pm.
Cost: $115 per person.


Molokini Snorkel Excursion
Thursday, September 27, 6:20 am - 12:30 pm

Enjoy a fabulous morning aboard a 53’ foot double-deck catamaran to Molokini Crater, Turtle Town and other coral reef snorkeling sites. This amazing tour offers you spectacular views of Wailea, Haleakala, Ma’alaea and Kihei as you enjoy a continental breakfast of bagels, tropical fruit, island pastries, juices and coffee. Snorkel Molokini Crater, Maui’s renowned snorkeling spot. You’ll view the coral reef and tropical fish, then be off to Turtle Town near Wailea/Makena where turtles enjoy showing off. Enjoy a fabulous deli lunch with mai tais, beer, and soft drinks on your leisurely return trip to Ma’alaea Harbor. Bus departs from the hotel at 6:20 am and returns at 12:30 pm.

Old Lahaina Shopping
Friday, September 28, 10:30 am - 2 pm

Join ACEC for an unforgettable day in Lahaina. This village boasts restored historic landmarks, dozens of art galleries, fantastic shopping, restaurants and the most authentic luau in all of Hawaii. Old Lahaina is a historical landmark not to be missed! Lunch is at your leisure at a variety of eateries and restaurants in Lahaina town. Bus departs from the hotel at 10:30 am and returns at 2 pm.

Local Color Night! Honua ‘Ula - Return to the Sacred Land
Friday, September 28, 5 pm - 7 pm

Join us as we take a journey back to a time when the mighty seafaring Polynesians discovered this land of Hawai’i, thereafter calling themselves Hawaiian. Our evening will be filled with stories, traditional chant and hula bringing the history of Maui to life. Hele Mai, come enjoy the magical enchantment of Honua’ula. Guests will dine on island favorites and enjoy tropical drinks and a sweet selection of dessert delicacies. Guests will walk from the Grand Wailea resort to the Luau grounds. Walking departure from the hotel at 5 pm.
