Description: For the first time, employees from four different generations are regularly interfacing in the engineering workplace. Such diversity can provide a healthy array of viewpoints, perspectives, and experiences which allow a firm to expand its toolbox of solutions, capture new markets, and connect with a wider client base. But that same range of backgrounds and opinions leads to conflict as well. The inability of officemates to understand one another, to speak the same language, may cause the workplace environment to become negative, inefficient, and unproductive.

Through industry anecdotes, lessons learned, and interactive discussion, this seminar addresses ways to break down generational language barriers by understanding differences and creating positive, productive communications.
