In an increasingly challenging A/E economic environment, progressive companies are throwing out old assumptions about how executives have traditionally been paid. To set performance expectations and compensation for key leaders, companies are becoming more creative-looking back to their core values to determine what's important, revisiting their vision of where the firm is going, and assessing shorter-term goals and strategies of how to reach them.
One promising new trend involves a much more significant incentive percentage based on actual performance or attainment of annual goals as set by the Board (for CEO), by the CEO (for executive team), and by the Executive Team (for their line leaders/managers). The presentation will include anonymous case studies as examples.
Objective of this online seminar is not to tell participants how to set compensation, but rather to raise and consider the questions they should ask themselves and their leaders about basic performance and reward principles that will best suit their own companies.
