Jeremy Ensz, who is seeking a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering from Kansas State University, was awarded the $10,000 ACEC Scholar of the Year scholarship.
Kristen Copeland was awarded the $5,000 ACEC Life/Health Trust Scholarship. She is entering her senior year and will earn a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from University of Alabama.
Lauren Grimley received the $2,500 a/e ProNet Engineering Scholarship. Grimley will earn her bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich. this year and enter a master's degree program in water resources and environmental engineering at University of Iowa in the fall.
Aryn Cowley, who received the $2,000 Small Firm Council Scholarship, will graduate this spring from Ferris State University with a bachelor's degree in surveying/engineering and will enter in the fall the master's degree program at Purdue University with a focus on geomatics.
The Council of American Structural Engineers awarded a $2,000 scholarship to Jeffrey Bloss, who is working towards a master's degree in structural engineering at University of Kansas.
