2019 ACEC Scholarship Winners

Jarrett Nuyen

Jarrett Nuyen, who is working toward a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Western Michigan University, was awarded the $10,000 ACEC Scholar of the Year.

 

Tyler Tsuchida

Tyler Tsuchida was awarded the $5,000 ACEC Life Health Trust Scholarship. He is working on a master’s degree in civil engineering the University of Hawaii.

 

Zachary Jerome

Zachary Jerome, who is studying for a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, received the $5,000 a/e ProNet Engineering Scholarship.

 

Jennifer Briggs

Jennifer Briggs, who received the $5,000 Rina Lee Scholarship, is working toward a master’s degree in architecural engineering from the University of Nebraska Lincoln.

 

Cara DuMonte

Cara DuMonte received the $5,000 Professional Liability Agents Network Scholarship. She is working on her master’s degree in green technologies from the University of Southern California.

 

Megan Patterson

Megan Patterson received the $3,000 Small Firm Council Scholarship and is studying for a master's degree in civil engineering at the Ohio State University.

 

Jon Cowart

Jon Cowart, who received the $3,000 College of Fellows Scholarship, is working on a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.

 

Tyler Wilfong

The Council of American Structural Engineers (CASE) awarded a $2,500 scholarship to Tyler Wilfong, who is working toward a master’s degree in civil engineering from California State University Fresno.
