Education Subgroup

Goal:

Collaborate with the Business Resources and Education Committee to develop educational programming that helps ACEC members expand diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within member firms.

Draft Objectives:

1. Work with the Business Resources and Education (BRE) Committee to populate the ACEC D&I page:
   • Develop a term/acronym list for both ACEC and DEI&B.
   • Develop guidelines for content for the D&I page.
   • Review potential content from programming/educational material developed by Member Organizations (M.O.s) and Member Firms.
   • Create a searchable database of publicly available resources starting with those listed in the March 2020 ACEC Design Professional Coalition Report and M.O. list.  Refresh/add additional resources periodically.
2. Work with the BRE Committee to:
   • Establish a DEI&B topic tab for on-demand on-line classes.
   • Recommend topics for podcasts and courses.
