Fellows Committee

PURPOSE:

The Fellows Committee, consisting of accomplished and recognized leaders, shall enhance the image of the profession by undertaking activities including recognition programs, outreach educational programs, assistance to associate ACEC groups, and involvement with senior management of ACEC firms.

2021 - 2022 GOALS:

1. Recruit, recognize and maintain strong participation of Fellows
    
2. Administer ACEC Young Professional of the Year Award Program.
    
3. Administer the ACEC Scholarship program
    
4. Work with the Research Institute in growing our sources of funds for Scholarships and create endowments to fund Scholarships.
    
5. Encourage states to nominate quality candidates for the ACEC Community Service Awards Program and administer the selection process.
    
6. Serve as a resource for other committees.
    
7. Enhance our community involvement in promoting, coordinating and participating in an Annual Charity Walk.
    
8. Promote, and host the Order of Engineer Award ceremony annually.
    
9. Encourage 100 percent participation by all Fellows in ACEC/PAC.
    

PROGRESS REPORTS:

The Committee shall make semi-annual reports to the Chairman (copied to the President) on progress made in achieving Committee goals.
