SUMMARY:Embracing Progressive Design-Build in Modern Engineering
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, February 19\, 2025 from 1:30-2:30 PM Eastern \nExplore the transformative potential of progressive design-build in today’s dynamic project delivery landscape. This session will delve into the practical considerations of early collaboration between owners and the design-builder team\, the integration of innovative contract practices\, and the strategic management of project risks and opportunities. This presentation will spend considerable time distinguishing progressive from traditional and\, most importantly\, why these difference require the project to be treated differently from a traditional design-build. Specific topics include bridging documents\, compensation structures\, when the “at-risk” shift occurs\, and why the “at-risk” shift changes\, fundamentally\, the risks assumed by the design team.
