ACEC Members Converge on Capitol Hill
Senator Gary Peters (D-MI) (standing, center), a member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, met with the ACEC/Michigan delegation this week during the ACEC Annual Convention and Legislative Summit. More than 400 ACEC members visited more than 300 Congressional offices during the Convention, advocating for more infrastructure funding, as well as for policies to address the shortage of engineering talent and initiatives to promote sustainable energy projects.

Parsons Corporation Goes Public
Charles Harrington, chairman/CEO/president of the Parsons Corporation, celebrates his company's IPO at the New York Stock Exchange yesterday. The firm sold 10.9 million shares, the stock price rising from the opening bell price of $27.00 to $30.28 by mid-morning.

EEA Winners Celebrate on Capitol Hill

The WEX Center promotes fundamental and applied research at the water-energy nexus in partnership with industry. Its research focuses on all dimensions of power/energy use and efficiency in the water processing sector, including extraction, treatment, conveyance, reclamation, and reuse.
