DoD Wins 5-Week Waiver on Firms Having to Certify Non-Use of Banned Chinese Telecom Equipment
The Department of Defense has been granted a temporary waiver until September 30 to implement Sec. 889 (B). The regulation, which took effect on August 13, requires companies doing business with the federal government to certify that their firms are not using certain banned, Chinese-made, telecommunications equipment, such as those made by Huawei and ZTE.

2020 Second Quarter A/E Revenues Declined 9% Compared to 2019 Q2
In the U.S. Census Bureau's Advance Quarterly Services Report for the second quarter of 2020 (April-June), A/E sector revenues totaled $80.2 billion, a 9 percent decline from same quarter last year and a 7 percent decline from the first quarter of 2020.
