ACEC of South Carolina, State DOT, FHWA Agree to Coronavirus Safety Plan

The South Carolina Department of Transportation issued a joint workforce safety plan in collaboration with ACEC of South Carolina, FHWA, and other construction stakeholders. The plan lays out steps taken by stakeholders to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

The plan covers issues such as employee wellness, hygiene, steps to reduce worker exposure, and return to work and offers additional online resources.

Firms and individuals who don’t agree to the plan or fail to follow the requirements will not be allowed to work on state DOT projects.
