Wednesday, March 31, 1:30 – 2:30 PM (Eastern)

State DOTs have led the way in adopting e-Construction technology designed for faster project delivery in bidding, construction administration, and inspection. They serve as a good example, even on a smaller scale, for local agencies and their consultants tasked to manage infrastructure public works projects.

In this presentation, Joey Myer of InfoTech looks at the important challenges being addressed at each level (FHWA, DOT, and local) and provides examples of firms who have taken a (digital) page out of the state DOT’s book to overcome issues such as pay estimate reconciliation, daily report accuracy, and synthesizing project information.
