Oregon E-Week Luncheon Program Attracts 600

The 56th Annual Engineers Week High School program held in Portland, Oregon on Tuesday attracted 600 students and engineers (360 students + 240 engineers).  The popular event was sold out with a waiting list of 70.

ACEC/Michigan Leaders Discuss PVC, Other Issues with U.S. Representative Stevens

ACEC/Michigan leaders met with U.S. Representative Haley Stevens (D-MI) last week. "It was a great meeting," said ACEC MI Executive Director Ron Brenke. "We covered a ton of issues and we were impressed with how prepared she was." One of the key issues was proposed federal legislation regulating material selections on local infrastructure projects. ACEC of New Jersey's Can Sculpture Contest Raises $1,500 for Charity

ACEC of New Jersey's annual Holiday Can Sculpture contest in December raised more than $1,500 for Toys for Tots. In addition, ACECNJ Member Firms donated more than 200 toys. Ten firms participated in the contest--the largest number ever--and WSP USA won with its Fun in the Sun display.
