Five Top Performers Win 2019 Young Professional of the Year Awards

ACEC has recognized five Member Firm employees as 2019 Young Professionals of the Year. This annual awards program promotes the accomplishments of young engineers by highlighting their contributions to engineering and to society.

The 2019 winners are Lindsey Kerkez, project manager/water resources modeling and analysis group manager, OHM Advisors in Lansing, Mich.; Mary Kerstein, project manager/project engineer, CHA Consulting, Inc. in Indianapolis; Feng Li, senior project manager, Golder in Redmond, Wash.; Jacob Turgeon, structural engineer, HGA Architects + Engineers in Minneapolis; and Ben Wood, sales coordinator/project manager, Strand Associates, Inc. in Madison, Wis.

A record 32 young professionals were nominated for the 2019 awards through their state organizations.
