Matthew Murello Talks Up ACEC Coalitions at National HQ Meeting

ACEC Coalition Leaders Chair-Elect Matthew Murello discussed the rapid growth of the seven ACEC coalitions with ACEC/National staff in Washington, D.C. today. Murello, who is president of Lewis S. Goodfriend & Associates in Chester, N.J., talked about how coalition members are the “best of the best” and among the most active Council members. For example, coalition members make up about 20 percent of the ACEC membership but accounted for more than half of ACEC/PAC contributions in 2018. The seven ACEC coalitions are the Council of American Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Council of American Structural Engineers, Council of Professional Surveyors, Design Professionals Coalition, Geoprofessional Coalition, Land Development Coalition, and the Small Firm Council.
