Pros and Cons of ESOPs in A/E Firms

ESOPs are common ownership vehicles in A/E firms. There are over 1,300 professional services firms with an existing ESOP, including some of the largest A/E firms in the industry. However, ESOPs are not for everyone.

PPP Loan Forgiveness: Updates & Guidance
Thursday, June 24, 1:30-3:00 PM (Eastern)

This session will provide the latest updates on Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan forgiveness and required credits under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), particularly on contracts with State Departments of Transportation (DOTs) and local agencies that use FAR indirect cost rates.

A panel of industry experts–T. Wayne Owens of Stambaugh Ness; Dan Purvine of A/E Clarity Consulting and Training; Diana Strassmaier of Aldrich CPAs + Advisors; and Scott Sutton of Somerset CPAs and Advisors–who helped develop guidance for State DOT auditors and A/E firms will review the key points of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) regulations and the supplemental guidance developed by the working group. They will also discuss the latest developments in policies and procedures being implemented in various states and the potential impact on firms.
