Please join us for the ACEC of Maine 2019 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 beginning at 7:30 a.m. We will be at the Clarion Hotel, located at 1230 Congress Street in Portland, Maine.
We are pleased to have Bruce Knox, P.E., Program Manager for the Transportation Infrastructure Durability Center (TIDC) at the University of Maine, joining us as our Keynote Speaker. Professor Knox will talk about the TIDC, which is a national U.S. DOT effort. The University of Maine is serving as a regional hub, working with MDOT and other agencies in the Northeast, with the goal of extending the life of transportation infrastructure including roads, bridges, and rail.
ACEC of Maine President Tim Boyce and National Director Owens McCullough will discuss ACEC's accomplishments in the past year and future plans. The ballot results for the 2019-20 Slate of Officers will be announced, and there will be a silent auction to raise funds for the ACEC/PAC, the engineering industry's primary tool for political engagement at the national level.
