President’s Reception & ACEC/PAC Event
Our guest speaker will be Lisa Dickson, Associate Principal and Director of Resilience for the Americas for Arup. Lisa has 25 years’ experience working at the intersect of the built and natural environments. She started her career as a transportation planner at MaineDOT before becoming interested in the carbon markets and, more recently, in alternative financing and investment options related to resilience. Her training as a paleontologist, with a focus on mass extinctions, has given her a unique perspective on the characteristics of resilient systems.
