Notification of landowners adjacent to or nearby to a property being surveyed can serve two main purposes. Notification provides an opportunity to let people know that your field crew(s) will be in the area conducting a survey. The notification can work to prevent uncertainty and relieve anxiety people can have when they see strangers on or near their property.
