Vermont--Today the American Council of Engineering Companies of Vermont (ACEC of Vermont) announced the 2021 recipients of its annual Engineering Excellence Awards.
ACEC of Vermont’s annual Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) competition recognizes outstanding achievements in engineering projects completed in Vermont. Projects were submitted this year in the following categories:
The award-winning projects were recognized for demonstrating an exceptional degree of innovation, complexity, achievement, and value. Four projects earned the prestigious Grand Award distinction, six were recognized with Merit Awards, and one project received the distinguished Green Mountain Award, which is given each year for the best overall engineering project in the competition.
“First, I would like to recognize all of the engineering excellence award participants for their incredible work on the projects submitted and congratulate this year’s award recipients. Vermont’s private sector engineers deliver strategic investments that are crucial to the state’s health, safety and quality of life” said Dale Gozalkowski, President of ACEC of Vermont. “This year’s awards go to both public and private projects that embody accomplishment in complex engineering disciplines. These firms’ partnerships with their private and public sector clients produce projects that help the people of Vermont thrive. It is our pleasure to announce the winners of the 2021 ACEC of Vermont Engineering Excellence Awards.”
The distinguished Green Mountain Award, an honor bestowed on the best overall engineering excellence award project for the year, will be announced in June at the ACEC of Vermont Engineering Excellence Awards annual event.
