The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) is pleased to announce that Molly Tuttle has joined as its new Director of Workforce Development. In this role, Tuttle will support ACEC’s Workforce Committee and spearhead the organization’s engagement with the Engineering Workforce Consortium (EWC).
“We are thrilled to welcome Molly to the ACEC team,” said Linda Bauer Darr, ACEC president and CEO. “Her cross-sector experience, strategic insight, and passion for workforce issues will be invaluable as we work to improve the talent pipeline challenges facing the engineering industry.”
Molly joins ACEC after five years at global engineering firm AECOM, where she managed strategic communications initiatives in key market sectors, particularly in resiliency and remediation projects involving both federal and state agency clients.
Her leadership at AECOM was built on more than 25 years of experience in strategic communications, encompassing executive and corporate communications, philanthropy, media relations, and crisis communications. Her work has spanned a wide array of industries including federal and state government, health, technology, environment, and infrastructure.
In addition to her engineering industry perspective, Molly brings direct experience in workforce development. While at the Semiconductor Industry Association, she played an active role in advancing workforce pipeline initiatives particularly focused on expanding opportunities in engineering and technical fields.
Tuttle holds a master’s degree in Global Strategic Communications from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications from the University of Arizona.
