ACEC Commends President Trump’s Creation of Permitting Innovation Center

ACEC released the following statement commending President Trump’s creation of the Permitting Innovation Center:

“ACEC commends President Trump for prioritizing innovative solutions to bring permitting technology into the 21^st Century.  Leveraging technology to improve process efficiency and reduce the time it takes to complete environmental reviews will enable more infrastructure projects to move forward.  Engineers play an important role working on the ground with project sponsors to carry out environmental reviews, and our industry stands ready to work with the Trump Administration as it modernizes the process through the Permitting Innovation Center.”
