ACEC Maryland to Use Minuteman Fund Grant to Campaign for Increased State Transportation Funding

ACEC has awarded a Minuteman Fund grant to ACEC Maryland to help defray the cost of a public awareness campaign calling for additional state transportation funding.

The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated Maryland’s long-time transportation funding shortfall, and the state has projected a 90 percent reduction in state transportation funding in FY22.

Working within the Together for Transportation Funding Coalition, ACEC/MD will reach out to both lawmakers and the public to emphasize the importance of infrastructure investment for Maryland’s long-term economic health.
