ACEC on Capitol Hill for E-Week

During E-Week, the Engineering and Public Works Roadshow made a stop on Capitol Hill. 

The open house was an opportunity to bridge the gap between policy, communications, and engineering and public works expertise by emphasizing the importance of collaboration in addressing national infrastructure challenges.  

With more than 100 Capitol Hill staffers coming by the open house, we: 

• introduced ourselves to congressional staffers unfamiliar with our organizations,  

• highlighted the vital work of engineers and public works professionals,  

• shared new ACEC Research Institute economic data, and  

• showcased the opportunity presented by the Engineering and Public Works Roadshow.  

Many staff supporting House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee members joined us, including the offices of Sam Graves (MO-06), Hank Johnson Jr. (GA-04), Rick Crawford (AR-01), Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24), Dina Titus (NV-01), Emilia Sykes (OH-13), Seth Moulton (MA-06).
