ACEC/PAC Champ Challenge Helps Carry ACEC Hawaii Over Fundraising Finish Line

ACEC Hawaii is the second state to reach its 2022 ACEC/PAC fundraising goal, thanks in part to a challenge issued by PAC Champ David Bills of Bills Engineering.

“I challenged our members in mid-January,” said Bills. If we met our PAC goal by February, I would do a haka and send our Executive Director to Korea to see BTS.”

The Haka is a ceremonial dance in M?ori culture, characterized by vigorous movements and stamping of the feet with rhythmically shouted or chanted accompaniment, and BTS is a Korean boy-band.

“Well ACEC Hawaii came through, and so have I,” said Bills.
