Today, the ACEC Research Institute announced that Olsson has increased its support of the Institute’s mission with a Founder Circle donation. The donation will allow the Institute to continue delivering knowledge and business strategies that elevate the engineering industry
Olsson is an ENR Top 75 engineering and design firm with a history of success across the United States. The firm’s experts consult on a wide range of infrastructure matters, including buildings and facilities, community infrastructure, data centers, energy, federal, industrial and manufacturing, telecommunications, transportation, and water.
“Like the ACEC Research Institute, we at Olsson are working to develop strategies that help our industry deliver solutions for tomorrow’s major challenges,” said Michael Piernicky, Olsson vice president. “We are honored to support the Institute as it works to lead discussions that shape the future of engineering.”
“Olsson’s continued support – now at the Founder Circle level – enables the Institute to continue producing research that helps firms navigate market conditions with confidence,” said Steve Lefton, chair of the ACEC Research Institute. “Olsson’s support reflects a belief in shared responsibility and collective action, two principles that are at the core of our mission.”
In addition to conducting original research, the Institute has awarded $678,000 in student scholarships over the past year to help future engineers join this transformational industry.
The ACEC Research Institute’s data is often cited by media outlets and is available on the Bloomberg Terminal, a tool for financial professionals that provides real-time data, news, and analytics. The Institute’s sought-after experts are also frequent contributors to industry podcasts.
Olsson joins a growing list of donors that have stepped forward over the past few years to support the ACEC Research Institute at the highest level, Founder Circle. Many of these donors were early contributors that helped launch the Institute.
