ACEC Urges Rapid Senate Confirmation of Buttigieg as U.S. DOT Secretary

In a letter sent today to the leadership of the Senate Commerce Committee, ACEC President & CEO Linda Bauer Darr called for the quick confirmation of Pete Buttigieg as U.S. Secretary of Transportation.

“With his experience as a mayor, he keenly understands the critical role that transportation plays in a community’s economic development, the safety and wellbeing of its citizens, and the health of the environment,” Darr wrote. “He is well equipped to lead the Department of Transportation at this important time in our history.”
