Tomorrow at 10am, students at Doherty Memorial High School will have a front-row seat to the power of infrastructure innovation and community impact as the Engineering and Public Works Roadshowmakes its latest stop in Worcester.
Hosted in partnership with the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the American Public Works Association (APWA), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the event will engage students around careers in engineering, public works, and the built environment.
The event will feature a powerful lineup of engineering leaders and public officials, beginning with Principal John Staley. Also scheduled to speak include:
- Dawn Connelly, President of ACEC Massachusetts
- Andy Herrmann, Past President of ASCE
- Eric D. Batista, Worcester City Manager
- Dr. Marie Morse, representing the Worcester Public Schools Superintendent’s Office
- Matthew Brassard, Vice President at Nitsch Engineering
Each speaker will highlight how engineering and public works projects, from roads and bridges to green buildings and stormwater systems, shape communities and improve lives.
