Chief Judge  

Anthony J Davit is the Vice President of Attraction Development and Placemaking at Universal Creative for Universal Destinations and Experience in Orlando Florida. He currently oversees the development of new attractions and placemaking projects at Universal Orlando’s Portfolio, which include Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal’s Volcano Bay.

Prior to joining Universal Creative, Tony served as the Director of United Airline’s Corporate Real Estate, Planning and Development Division’s South Region. He oversaw development for the United hubs at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and Denver International Airport (DEN) and line stations in the South-Central United States, Mexico, and Central America.

Prior to joining United Airlines, Tony served a 26-Year career in the US Air Force retiring in November of 2017 at the rank of Colonel. He was in the Civil Engineer career field progressing in positions from a Civil Engineer/Staff Officer to the Group Command Level. His assignments included Air Base Group Commander & Deputy Commander Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Director of Readiness for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Command positions within 3 USAF RED HORSE Squadrons and the Chief of the USAF Airfield Pavement Evaluation Team to name a few.

Tony was elected to the Town Council for the Town of Windermere Florida in 2021 and reelected in 2023 and is serving his second term through March 2025. Tony is also the President of the RED HORSE and Prime BEEF Association, a 501(c)(19) non-profit organization serving past and present Air Force Civil Engineers

Tony received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. He commissioned upon graduation through the Reserve Officer Training Corps. He subsequently received his Masters of Science Degree from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Strategic Studies from the USAF Air War College. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the States of Indiana and Texas and a Project Management Professional.

Tony is married to his wife of 28 years, Maryann, and they have two daughters. Maryann is a Program Manager at ‘Hiring our Heroes’. His daughter Katy is a First Lieutenant in the US Air Force. His daughter Emily works as a financial analyst at Universal Creative. Tony is an scuba diver, a private pilot and Amateur Extra ham radio operator…in his spare time.
