Daniel is a licensed Professional Engineer that leads ACEC’s technology education agenda, developing programs and partnerships that help member firms adopt AI and digital tools and translate industry trends into practical outcomes. At ACEC, he champions professional learning and policy that enable confident use of emerging technologies, delivering courses, and case studies that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and drive business transformation. Prior to joining ACEC, Daniel was an engineering consultant providing professional engineering services to a variety of clients and projects. Additionally, Daniel worked for a technology company as a subject matter expert on technology and its use in the industry, help the company better understand the engineering industry and engineering companies better understand how to employ the product. He has a B.S. and M.S. In Civil (Structural) Engineering from Virginia Tech and a MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Fun Fact:
Daniel has been on multiple long distance motorcycle trips around the country, once logging about 6,600 miles in roughly 16 days.
