James Fallon is the Assistant Chief Engineer of the Connecticut Department of Transportation, a position he has held since November 2020. Jim has been with the Department since 1994 and has held a variety of positions in both Engineering
and Capital Planning. In his current position, Jim oversees approximately 1100 employees engaged in the design and construction of multi-modal transportation capital improvements.

Jim is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and Fairfield University, and holds a MBA in addition to his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Jim is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Connecticut. Jim is also a member
of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Advisory board at UConn and a board member of the Mattabassett District.
