The ACEC Research Institute has announced changes to its Board of Directors.  

Completing his term as chair, Mike Carragher, Chair & CEO of VHB, has moved to the role of past chair. Steve Lefton, Executive Chairman of Kimley-Horn, will now lead the organization as board chair, and Javier A. Baldor, CEO of BST Global, has become treasurer. Greg Kelly, CEO of STV, is joining the board to serve as vice chair.  

The Institute also added the following engineering industry leaders to its board of directors: 

  • Lisa Robert, COO, RS&H
    Board Member 
  • Marcus Quigley, Partner, Technology and Innovation, EFCG
    Affiliate Member
  • Adam Jones, President, ACEC-SC
    National Association of Engineering Council Executives (NAECE) Representative 

The new board members will begin their roles at the ACEC Research Institute Board of Directors meeting on May 1, 2025. 

“As the ACEC Research Institute reflects on the impact of its first five years, I am proud of the work we have done together as a board,” said ACEC Research Institute Past Chair Mike Carragher. “The impact of our industry-leading research will be long lasting, and we’re just getting started.”

  • Mike Corkery, Group Executive, Roper Technologies 
  • Kasey Anderson, Executive Director, ACEC Tennessee 
  • Jim Haynes, Former President & CEO, POWER Engineers
