Washington, DC – Today the ACEC Research Institute announced a major donation from JMT, an employee owned, multi-disciplinary firm that provides a full array of planning, design, and construction phase consulting services for infrastructure projects throughout the United States and its territories.
JMT’s Founder Circle donation supports the ACEC Research Institute’s important research to provide insights and thought leadership for the engineering industry. The Institute is an independent, non-profit organization.
“As our industry faces unprecedented transformation, collaboration becomes more important than ever. JMT is excited to be part of the conversation and part of the solution through our ongoing support of the ACEC Research Institute,” Mike Blair, chief executive officer of JMT, stated. “Supporting initiatives that prioritize research, technology, and sustainable growth is essential.”
“JMT shares our belief that the future of engineering lies at the intersection of innovation, data, and partnership,” said Steve Lefton, chair of the ACEC Research Institute. “They understand that strategic foresight is essential in navigating the rapidly changing landscape of the AEC industry.”
In addition to conducting original research, the institute has awarded $678,000 in student scholarships over the last year to help future engineers join this transformational industry.
