Join ACEC for the 2024 Engineering Excellence Awards Gala-the “Academy Awards” of the engineering industry-which recognizes preeminent engineering achievements from throughout the world, including the Grand Conceptor Award for the year’s best overall engineering accomplishment.

All award winners will be recognized at the black-tie EEA Gala Dinner and Awards Program. The Gala evening begins with Reception at 6:00 P.M.  The awards show kicks off with a special celebration honoring Frances Arnold, Linus Pauling Professor of Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Biochemistry at the California Institute of Technology, who will be presented with ACEC’s 2024 Distinguished Award of Merit.

The evening continues with tributes of 2024 National Recognition Award Winners, dinner, and presentation of the year’s Top Awards hosted by award-winning improv comedian, Paul Mecurio. The Gala closes with an After-Party with music and dancing.



Hotel Information

The 2024 ACEC Annual Convention & Legislative Summit will be held at the Grand Hyatt Washington steps from Capitol Hill.

The Grand Hyatt Washington is currently enhancing guestrooms through renovations.  During our event, renovations will be occurring only in sleeping rooms.  The hotel has assured ACEC that these renovations will not impact our attendees or the sleeping rooms in our block.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to
