On Thursday, February 22nd, the Engineering and Public Works Roadshow will stop in Phoenix, AZ, to spotlight the Northwest Valley Infrastructure project.
This important infrastructure project results from industry and state and federal government cooperation. The plant, owned by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), decided to invest in Phoenix after Congress passed the Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors and Science (CHIPS) Act of 2022.
The $125 million construction project required installing the water and wastewater infrastructure within an exceedingly accelerated schedule that allowed less than six months for pre-construction and procurement and only a nine-month window.
Join us to celebrate this example of engineering and public works excellence by watching the live stream of the Roadshow stop.

The Engineering and Public Works Roadshow is a joint project of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the American Public Works Association (APWA), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
The Roadshow marks the first time the leading organizations representing the designers and public operators of America’s infrastructure have joined together to shine a spotlight on what successful infrastructure investment means for the nation’s economy, jobs, the environment, and our future.
