ACEC Oregon Tops Annual ACEC/PAC Fundraising Goal

ACEC Oregon surpassed its 2021 ACEC/PAC fundraising goal last week.

The MO has three PAC Champions, Tony Roos of Kittelson & Associates, Mark Leece of PBS, and Tonya Finley of David Evans and Associates, allowing them to spread the workload. In addition, the PAC Champs assign the nine members of the ACEC/OR Board of Directors a list of members to contact for donations.

The organization begins promoting the PAC during its Engineering Excellence Awards program in January and holds a variety of fundraising events during the year. In August, for example, ACEC/OR held a PAC golf event.

ACEC/OR Executive Director Alison Davis said that virtual meetings have actually made it easier for members to donate.

“During our May Business event and last week’s Fall Conference, ACEC/PAC set up direct links to purchase sweepstakes tickets,” she said. “In addition, during our Fall Conference, members could enter to win one of two items and also be entered into the National PAC drawing.” 

“The ACEC Oregon Board makes reaching our National PAC goal a priority each year,” she added. “We thank our members for their support!”
