Engineering Influence Podcast: Lockton’s Kevin Holland on Cybersecurity and the Engineering Industry

Cybersecurity has become a big issue in recent months. Several high-profile ransomware attacks have made the headlines in recent months, including Colonial Pipeline, JBS Foods, the computer manufacturer ACER, and AXA, an international insurance company that ironically had just announced days before the attack that it would no longer reimburse some clients for ransomware payments. Likely, many more attacks go unreported and experts predict that the pace of cybercrime activity will increase.

Kevin Holland of Lockton’s Engineering and Design Practice came on the Engineering Influence podcast to talk about cybercrime, the vulnerability of the engineering industry, cybersecurity insurance, and the steps firms can take to protect themselves.
