Keeping the Energy of the Fall Conference Going

Keeping the Energy of the Fall Conference Going

We’re back in Washington, DC after a record-breaking Fall Conference which just wrapped up in Colorado Springs. More than 1,000 registrants – the highest total ever joined us for our fall annual event. During three days of general sessions, meetings, and education sessions, attendees were presented with new reports from the ACEC Research Institute and insights from leading voices in business and industry.

We are extending the conference experience for those who attended the event and provide valuable information for those who were unable to join us. Over the coming weeks, we will be posting conference coverage across our website and social channels. Keep an eye out for new posts to Last Word and make sure to read what we’ve already posted including articles on how member firms can mitigate the impacts of inflationclimate-resilient infrastructure, and more.

The Engineering Influence podcast was busy recording interviews with ACEC members, exhibitors, and award winners. Stay tuned for new episodes which will be posted in the coming days and check out our interviews with the ACEC Life Health Trust, the CASE and GeoProfessionals Coalitions, and our Young Professionals of the Year.

Make sure to visit our YouTube Channel for videos with ACEC leaders on hot topics including workforce development and D&I. We have also posted the opening remarks from the first general session, as well as the presentation of the QBS award and the Chair Emeritus Award.

The ACEC Research Institute was also very active at the Fall Conference, with the releases of its new landmark Design Build study, as well as its updated economic profile of the engineering and design services industry and forecast and the new Q4 Engineering Business Sentiment survey. Get those reports here.

We’re now looking forward to a busy November with registration open for our first-ever private market symposium on the energy market taking place on the 15th in Houston, TX, and the launch of our Engineering and Public Works Roadshow at the Port of Long Beach on Cyber Monday.

Have a great week.
