Jesse Koehler serves as Rail Program Manager at the San Francisco County Transportation Authority in San Francisco, California. Jesse is part of the multi-agency management team advancing The Portal, a transformative $7.5 billion rail subway program in the heart of downtown San Francisco, led by the Transbay Joint Powers Authority. In this role, Jesse has led development of The Portal’s funding plan, procurement approach, and six-agency governance agreements. In his previous work in Canada, Jesse served as Associate Director for Toronto Pearson Airport’s Regional Transit Centre program, as Project Director for the Broadway Subway project in Vancouver, and as Project Director for investment planning at TransLink, Vancouver’s regional transportation authority. He received his Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Master of Public Administration degrees from Cornell University. Jesse is a dual citizen of Canada and the United States, and he lives car-free in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood.
