With clients and staff troubled about the impact of tariffs and international trade—particularly regarding steel—it’s critical that project teams and designers are able to distinguish what's true and what's not.

Join Tabitha Stine to examine the impacts of tariffs on design and construction, with particular emphasis on how the structural steel supply chain may be affected. You'll learn how to navigate the project challenges ahead and explore how to:

  • Determine how tariffs may impact your project’s budgets and sustainability
  • Collaborate with other team members regarding materials specification and procurement to manage your projects schedule and budget
  • Articulate possible impacts on clients so you can continue to deliver a project with integrity, strength, and durability seamlessly

About the Speaker:

Tabitha Stine, SE, PE, LEED AP, is a vice president with the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) where she oversees the activities of the structural and steel specialists, National Steel Bridge Alliance specialists, and AISC Steel Solutions Center. Ms. Stine presents nationally on the innovations in steel, construction economy trends, resilience, sustainability, and architecturally exposed structural steel.
