Resources for M.O.s

Goal:

The purpose of this subgroup is to provide resources for ACEC state Member Organizations (M.O.s) and their boards as they begin or booster their discussions on diversity.

Draft Objectives:

  1. Develop a guidebook (electronic) on how to start the conversation. (For some M.O.s there may still be trepidation as to why this is necessary and how it fits the business case).
  2. Recruit a speaker’s bureau of ACEC member corporate executives who are farther along in their journey in DEI&B to teach M.O. boards what they have learned in the process.
  3. Assist ACEC National to develop DEI&B training i.e., “Step one: I think we have a diversity problem. Step two: now what?”
  4. Compile a national list of DEI&B facilitators that M.O.s may use for local, tailored and hands-on training.
