Health & Safety

Updated 4/5/22

We are excited to be holding our upcoming Annual Convention and Legislative Summit in person this May in Washington, D.C.  We are also sensitive to the changing environment with respect to COVID-19 and are dedicated to hosting an event that has the best interests of our guests front of mind. ACEC is committed to holding an event where everyone feels safe.  To accomplish this, we have updated our Annual Convention attendee policy concerning COVID-19.

  • ACEC will comply with all D.C. health and safety requirements in effect at the time of the 2022 Annual Convention.  As of 4/5/22, there are no restrictions in effect for D.C. or the Grand Hyatt Hotel.  In addition, as of 4/5/22, ACEC will not be requiring a COVID-related clearance such as a CLEAR Health Pass for attendance at the Annual Convention or Engineering Excellence Awards Gala.

  • The Grand Hyatt hotel will continue its cleaning regimen to provide a healthy meeting environment.  The details are listed at https://www.hyatt.com/info/care-and-cleanliness-americas

  • The ACEC Registration Desk and process will be "contact-less" and "paper-less".  There will be a robust Annual Convention Meeting App that will have all program information, hotel floor plans, exhibitor information, etc. and eliminate the need for paper registration kits and on-site programs.
