ACEC/PAC Raises More than $270,000 During ACEC Convention

Through its Spring Sweepstakes and a host of other events, ACEC/PAC raised more than $270,000 during the 2019 ACEC Annual Convention and Legislative Summit in Washington earlier this month.

Among the Convention events were a reception for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), an Irish Pub Night, a Zumba class, and the ACEC/PAC Sweepstakes Breakfast.

ACEC/Wisconsin Co-PAC Champion Gil Hantzsch  of MSA Professional Services in Baraboo, Wis. (right) won the $10,000 grand prize.

Winners of the two $5,000 prizes were ACEC/Maryland Co-PAC Champion Michael Retton of Stantec in Laurel, Md and ACEC/Tennessee Executive Director Kasey Anderson

Andrew Craig of Mohr and Associates in Shreveport, La. and Dan Duprey of CPL in Rochester, N.Y. each won $2,500.

Winners of the ten $1,000 prizes were ACEC/Hawaii PAC Champion David Bills of Bills Engineering in Honolulu; Cash Canfield of American Structurepoint in Indianapolis; William Cantrell of NOVA Engineering and Environmental in Crestview, Fla.; ACEC/California Executive Director Brad Diede; Duane Hippe of HDR in Anchorage, Alaska; Thomas Hruby of NOVA Engineering and Environmental in Kennesaw, Ga.; Jonathan Kramer of OHM Advisors in Livonia, Mich.; ACEC/Arizona PAC Champion Dave Peterson of WSP USA in Tempe, Ariz,; ACEC/Georgia President/CEO Michael Sullivan; and ACEC/North Dakota PAC Champion Jeffry Volk of Moore Engineering in West Fargo, N.D.
