Online Class: How Will Federal Cybersecurity Rules Affect Your Firm; March 18

As cyber threats increase globally, the Department of Defense has become particularly sensitive to the amount of controlled unclassified information left unprotected on contractors’ systems.

The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), Version 1.0, is DOD’s latest tool in ensuring their information is protected. It gives detailed requirements on how a contractor must protect its information systems.

In the March 18 online class CMMC: The Cost of Doing Business Just Went Up, Can You Afford to Sit This Out?,  Reginald Jones of Fox Rothschild will explain how to navigate these complicated and potentially costly regulations and mitigate the impact on your firm.

Takeaways for participants include:

  • Review DoD’s cybersecurity regulations, including CMMC, Version 1.0, and how the DFARS and the CMMC can affect your business
  • Develop a working knowledge of the CMMC, Version 1.0, and the other cybersecurity requirements that apply to your firm
  • Gain the tools necessary to create your own internal cybersecurity models in order to comply with all relevant regulations
  • Learn how to become more competitive on new DOD contracts by using the CMMC as a guide
